The Glendora Police Department acknowledged a clerk error they made which resulted a bench warrant for my arrest and has made me ineligible for employment because it shows up on background checks. The police department hasn't been able to provide a solid action plan of resolving this. My attempts at speaking with someone who can take care if this are met with hostility whenever I'm being screened by clerks. I'm sad that this happened to me. The entirety of 2017 has been spent fighting this.
My family and I have lived in the Glendora community for year. We love it. We have family of 5, with 2 school aged children. They are great, smart, caring young adults.As for their parents;my husband is a rt mid foot amputee missng 8 digits and battling diabetes.Michael has been in the hospital and having surgeries over -20 times on the other hand I have Epilepsy, prediabetes amongst numerous concerns that prevent me from earning an income and being along. Our income covers our rent only. Our Gas been disconnected recently, our vehicle was taken from us last year,so we miss important appointment required for my husband and I. We live off of 200 hunded dollars a month. My daughter is due to graduate nect month from Glendora High School and my son Jahlani attends Stanton in a special education class. As parents we are asking for assistance. For my children. I no longer drive but my husband is able. When we were able to bless others we didn't hesitate. I would love to have a stable a life to provide for me children. We are unable to purchase Vehicle, pay for her prom and grad night.
They protect our great city w out glendora police station our neighborhood or hood our home would not be so great.

I have the utmost respect and appreciation for our police department. Their courtesy, dignity, and respect was unparalleled over a recent experience I had that stretched 3 departments. I wont bother mentioning the other 2, or the details. That's another matter. This is pure thanks. So thank you, genuinely, to our Glendora Police Department.
Worst PD ever. Careful if you aren't white, they are " suspicious" of you. If you've got a cat in a tree maybe I'd call them, otherwise no. Too large a force to be worth the tax dollars. Mostly patrols north glendora and ignore any of glendora south of foothill.
