I have several family members buried at Oakdale, and always felt it was a place to sit quietly, think and pray for those I'd lost. However, in viewing some of the photos on this website, it looks more like a flea market than a cemetery.

I am happy to live near this cementary and be able to participate in the cultural events they host that celebrate our latino community and its traditions.

My little sister and grandmother are buried here. We had Letisia Hernandez help us this past December with my grandmother's arrangements, and she was great. Letisia was professional and caring. She made us feel like she was making the arrangements for her own family member. Letisia displays the true meaning of customer care and service. My family and I appreciate all she has done, and we would highly highly recommend her for your burial arrangements and services. Thank you Oakdale for hiring such an and wonderful person such as Letisia Hernandez.

I realize that people grieve differently, but a cemetery should be a place for quiet reflection, and visitors should show respect and dignity.

In years past when I lived in California and visited the cemetery, loud music and celebrating could sometimes be heard by others visiting.
